A Front Row Seat at the
Forefront of Fashion.
A fabulous new immersive experience is coming to the UK, offering exclusive access into fashion’s finest, fit for everyone.
The fashion industry has always walked hand in hand with exclusivity. From symbols of status to celebrity endorsements, fashion has seen a history of limited luxury to those most fortunate. With the birth of the internet and runways beginning to be published across the web, we have started to experience access on a wider scale. By allowing everyone to see the art and craftsmanship produced at Fashion Week, brands have opened their doors to a vast demographic of consumers they had never thought of before.
But, bar a lucky few, the majority of us are yet to truly experience a fashion show. Feel the buzz of guests taking their seats, waiting for the show to begin. Hear the noise of chaos backstage, scrambling to get the models ready on time. See the textures, patterns, colours of our favourite looks right in front of our eyes, not just through a liked instagram post. Now we can.
Vogue: Inventing the Runway lifts the curtain on catwalks past and present, delving into the history of fashion runway shows, from intimate couture showrooms to pop-culture moments that strutted their way into the fashion hall of fame. Narrated by Cate Blanchett, this immersive experience is a feast for the senses. With complete surrounding visuals and sounds, you feel like you are truly there among the fashion greats.
With archive looks never before seen and an insightful journey into fashion show history, this experience is truly not one to miss. It is clear that Vogue and the fashion industry are growing in consciousness for their consumers and opening their archives to the masses. This immersive experience is a great step towards inclusivity within the fashion industry and the perfect exhibition for the conscious consumer.
